Easy! Elizabeth Regina Tudor, also known as The Virgin Queen, or just Elizabeth I. I have been completely and totally obsessed with Queen Elizabeth since my first year in college when I took the first of two English history classes. I have tons of movies about her (not just the Hollywood ones) and loads of books. I have an Elizabeth collection actually. I am obsessed!

Well, I guess I'd like to be Mary I ("Bloody Mary") because to me she is the name most associated with Tudor, frequently referred to as Mary Tudor. She also was a precocious child (I think that fits me, too, although my intelligence has waned considerably from those years of youth). I also was raised as a Roman Catholic, so I guess I relate to that aspect as well. Mostly, I think that she was probably misunderstood to a fair degree and probably not as villainous as projected.

I, too, would like to be Elizabeth I. I think she was a very intelligent woman, and I think she did remarkably well considering what she had to rise above in her life.

I would love to be The Good Queen Bess, Elizabeth Reginia Tudor. ( I liked her so much that I choose her middle name for my daughter) Besides that I love her motto One "video et taceo" ("I see, and say nothing").

Hmm. Since they all wind up dead, I'm not too sure I would want to be any Tudor. Maybe Elizabeth.

I'd want to be the King, of course. I'm secretly a little power hungry. And he's a snappy dresser.

Are you kidding??? I would HAVE to be King Henry VIII himself! I want to be the one with all the power and completely safe from getting my head chopped off!!!!!

I would be Anne of Cleves. She was married to King Henry for less than a year. Got out with her life and still lived seventeen years after the annulment. She received land, a yearly income, and a position of power at Court. Henry claimed he found her so unattractive he couldn't consummate the marriage but I think that would be a plus. She loved to drink and gamble so I can relate to her there.

Well, since I love having all the power I would love to be King! But if a woman couldn't be King, I would be Anne of Cleves-she got off good, no marriage to the King, no sex with him, money and land without him! I say Yay to that!! LOL!!

King Henry VIII because I would love to be able to change his approach to things (killing to get rid of "problems") and show the world that a person could change!

I would be Anne of Cleves. She seems to be the purest of the women. She is strong willed and a strong women. She has her faults but don't we all.

Anne of Cleves...I think anyways. I haven't seent he show, but have enjoyed many books on the Tudors. Would love to have the chance to watch the series as it sounds great.

King Henry VIII....then I would change the coarse of history and not kill all these wives.

Gotta be The Man, King Hank. As you can readily see from his portrait, NOBODY ate better than that dude.

Definitely Anne of Cleves. She got away from Henry- and she got to keep her head.

Tough question but I think Elizabeth I as well.

I would be Katherine Parr. She was a survivor (landed on her feet after losing two husbands) read banned books (You GO girl!) and managed to keep herself away from the execution block by telling old Henry serial stories that he was quite addicted to. She was also an excellent mother to her stepchildren, and took great pains to ensure that Elizabeth I received a brilliant education while in her care.

Catherine of Aragon, the Tudor by marriage. First, she herself was royal by birth. Her parents were Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain (Christopher Columbus financiers, anyone?). Despite the circumstances she found herself in when Anne Boleyn began plotting, she always conducted herself with dignity. She never quit acknowledging herself as the queen or acknowledging her daughter Mary as the princess, because in her heart she felt that they were their rightful titles. Quite a lady, and a very real and dignified royal - unlike the people she was obviously surrounded by.

Although she has made no real appearance in the show as yet, I have always been an admirer of Queen Elizabeth I. What a fascinating and difficult life she had right from the start! And it made her a strong woman capable of weilding the power of her office confidently in an era where woman were more often the means to an heir and pretty decoration.

Elizabeth was a truly amazing woman who still inspires and teaches others today by the example of her life, her sharp wits, and her ability to embrace all of who she was- woman, monarch, politician, diplomat, war leader... true daughter to an indifferent and powerful father infatuated with his own importance. Elizabeth embodied the best of both her parents and was a glorious rose on the Tudor vine.

I really love this show! they are even showing it for free on channel 101 through direct TV but I have all the pay channels so I watch it first on showtime and than again on 101 later in the week. I have tons of books on the Tudor reign and would be absolutely thrilled if I won the DVDs .The Tudors has to be the best pay cable series in history . Thanks so much for the opportunity to win !

I just read The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory. I found the Tudor courts fascinating. The person I'd most want to be is Elizabeth I. She kept her head! I'd love to win these dvds because this series wasn't offered on our cable system.
