Nice surprise in the mail today!

Last week, a girlfriend of mine from out of town spent the night; she had a meeting to attend right by my house, so we got to visit and she didn't have to pay for a hotel room (we have a spare bedroom).  We had a great time, and I genuinely invited her to come and stay again any time.

In the mail today I received a lovely thank you card from her, with a $20 gift certificate that can be used at 90+ businesses here in my town as well as a $15 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery (a place we both love).

It was so unexpected and sweet!  Now, I'm trying to decide if I'll be practical (I need to get the oil changed on my car, but I was putting it off due to finances) or splurge a little (I could use towards Easter gifts, a meal out, or a spa service, among many, many things!).

That would be a difficult decision. We don't have Coldstone here so I sent my gift certificate for my birthday to a friend of mine who still lives near one.
