We just might have to find our way back to the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga). Not sure if we'll be able to make this one though, as it's in April, instead of May. Hmmm... let's see what we can do. I was originally told this would be on May 17th, but the listing shows it as being on April 17th. Then again, miracles do happen.
One of my favourite singers (yes I have a lot of favourites) Goran Karan is coming all the way to Croatia, to perform in Mississauga, and tickets are only $40!!! Wow. When i wanted to see Leonard Cohen in concert, (and he lives in North America, for crying out loud!!!) tickets were over $200. I think I like Goran Karan better than Leonard Cohen, anyway.
The host of the Croatian Program on CKWR FM radio in Kitchener played an interview with Goran Karan from Split Croatia, last Sunday, and it was in an e-mail regarding the program that he informed me of this wonderful concert!! I'm sure it was mentioned on the program, but since I don't actually understand the Croatian language, I woudln't have gotten it anyway. LOL
I'm going to fax my tax forms to my accountant tomorrow. I usually get about a $300 tax refund. Let's see if he can pull off a miracle, and get it back to me before April 17th!!

And here's one of my favourite songs. He performs this song in both Croatian and English, along with loads more in Croatian. I absolutely love this song!!!

Sveta, we are going to try, depending on what our budgets look like. The tickets are not a problem (I could cover that with Gather points!!) but because it's in Mississauga late at night, transportation will be an issue, and an expensive one at that.

Possibly a hotel for the night incase the busses don't go late enough, since it starts at 8 PM
