Mom of two Anne Gale used to run an erotic website called anne34dd.com. It featured nude videos and pictures of her. On the site, she declared, "I am a Mom, Wife and Exhibitionist!! In that order!" Now she's running a daycare in her home, and wants to adopt two foster kids, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The birth mother of the two children (both younger than 4) is less than thrilled, and is now fighting to regain custody. Birth mom Rachel Voight's attorney says the Gales have a "morally deficient lifestyle" that her client didn't know about until recently.
But the Gales' attorney says there is "no correlation between [the Gales'] ability to parent and their prior lifestyle choices," according to court papers filed by their attorney.
Do you think Anne should be allowed to adopt, or does her past deem her unfit to do so?

1) Why were the birth mother's two children in foster care in the first place? Was she giving them up for adoption due to circumstances in her life, or abandoning them because she did not want them?
2) Where does a woman who, according to the article from the link, "has pleaded guilty in the past to forging checks and has admitted to smoking marijuana," two illegal activities, get off criticizing the perfectly legal past of the foster parent with whom she chose to leave her kids?
3) If she was so concerned about her kids, why didn't the birth mother check into the couple's past before leaving them in that house?
4, 5, and 6) Why, in the 21st century, are we even discussing whether or not a porn star can be a good parent? Aside from whether or not she should participate in "take our daughters to work day" is this really an issue? Since when does the state get to decide whether to deny or allow parenthood on the basis of a profession which is not illegal?
7) Is it possible that the birth mother couldn't give a rat's ass about the porn, but is using it as leverage in a case she planned on bringing anyway?
