ACM Awards 2009 Best Dressed List: Carrie Underwood Dress Was a Stunner!

Carrie Underwood arrived to the 2009 ACM Awards last night in a gorgeous champagne frock but the voluminous red dress she wore during her performance is what put her over the top for my 2009 ACM Awards best dressed female list.

#1: Carrie Underwood: Here is Carrie Underwood's "orange carpet" dress from the ACM Awards

And here is the Carrie Underwood dress that stole the show.

#2: Taylor Swift: She is just gorgeous so I am not sure that it even matters what she wears.

#3: Julianne Hough: I think DWTS sets the bar so low for costumes that seeing her in a real dress is just so refreshing. She looked stunning!

#4: Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland: I think part of her appeal comes from the fact that she always seems so genuinely happy. It makes me a little sick.

#5: Miley: I find her infinitely annoying but she did look kinda cute.

Sorry I thought that red dress was a disaster, the top of it was great, but I just didn't like, my husband said he thought it looked like the curtain fell around her as she walked out on stage.

And her other dress?
My husband and I decided she must have had a toga party to go to after the awards.

She got some very deserving wins, however, I did NOT like her choice of attire.

Carrie Underwood ALWAYS looks amazing - she has a great team dressing her. I agree that Taylor Swift looks good in just about anything and the red was so striking with her skin color. Miley Cyrus needs to learn how to dress her age. You can still find an beautiful gown that is appropriate. She dresses too old.

sorry I disagree about teh dress being amazing.....I like Carrie Underwood but that dress should have stayed in the store.......

I didn't like Taylor Swifts dress either.

Guess I'm showing my old frumpy age.....I prefer George over both Carrie and Taylor any day of the week.
