Hi everyone!

All this is about is we thought our new groups templates would be a great way to make a tribute to your mom for Mother's Day. You can have your family get involved with sending you photos or even posting them to the group. Create your group, invite them all and then start sharing those photos. Then as the group owner you can start organize the group as you'd like to make it customized for your family! Change the background, move the modules around, have family tributes in the Recent Posts full lists, and much more! For any specific questions please don't hesitate to email me! And have fun!!

The examples I gave are just examples of the fun, different ways our employees have customized their own groups. They're just to show you how a different background or different use of the modules can make a group entirely unique!

I am so confused. Can someone message me and tell me what to do. Do I create my own group and use that as like a scrapbook for my mom? My moms not on gather and neither are any of my other family members.

need to see some samples, do we each do one or are we sharing our ideas. ps. I lost my mom 20 years ago to cancer, but I am a mom... though i have three teenage boys and that is probably the last thing they may want to join in on... I can still do it myself for myself. "Gee Mom, I may not say it, but you're the best."

Hi everyone! Let's answer some questions:

1.) Yes, the idea is to create your own group and make it a "home" of photos, videos, articles, etc. about either yourself and your family or your mom and her family!
2.)YES, definitely do one for yourself if you are a mom - you deserve it! It would be something you can always return to and add more photos as you get them and show your family all of the work you do.
3.) You don't have to have your family on Gather to do this. You can still show it to them without their being members. Have everyone huddle around the computer and give you ideas. Keep the group public and send a link to your family and friends! If they have them, they can email back photos to you and you can upload them to the group!
