It's Midnight in Minnesota,

It's almost time... In Minnesota, around the world, in our hearts...

This week -- and next -- at Rainbow Connections, we'll be exploring the themes of Night and Day / midnight and daybreak in honor of my newly released book, Night and Day.

This week's color is Midnight... Midnight Blue, Midnight Black... Midnight any color of the rainbow as long as it's deep, and dark, and rich, and intense.

Next week's color, starting the day or two after Easter, will be Daybreak... in Denmark... or anywhere.

Each week, for the next two weeks, in addition to the regular winners, a grand prize winner will be chosen. That person will win a free copy of Night and Day!

So, starting now, at Rainbow Connection ~ Colorful Competitions, you're cordially invited to post photos, poetry, videos, posts, paintings and other creative expressions pertaining to the color Midnight.

Come join the fun if you haven't already -- and whatever you do, don't forget, something wonderful is about to happen!

Wow Sherrie, - a great theme!! You have certainly out done yourself with these stunning photos.....all are fabulous!!!! (As I was reading your lovely photo essay all I could think about was the crucifixion (how dark it was) and the resurrection (how bright it was) of Jesus!)!!
