Late Night

Well, it's 1am here. I have no alarm clock in the morning, though. Rae is sleeping, Chris has a movie in, though I think he's asleep. Gilly went to bed hours ago. It's snowing hard outside, and the worst of it is supposed to be hitting soon- rain, possible sleet and hail, snow, and winds.

I've got a nice mix of country music from now, and from the mid 90's playing right now. I loved country in high school, so a lot of songs bring back memories of driving around with a car full of friends late at night, finding places to explore, and places to go.

Right now, though, it's Carrie Underwood's "Just a Dream", which is a sad song.

yeah that is a sad song.. I like that song "white horse" also your gonna miss this! I can't believe its 1 already.. I'm taking avantage of no school tomorrow lol. I really should head to bed.. But its just so quiet!! Lovin it!

I wish I was home relaxing. I am at work, on lunch break now. I have been dealing with a very confused Alzheimer's patient along with 3 other critical care patients. I'll be glad when it is time to go home.

Its a pretty song. Admittedly i am not a big country fan. After working in a Country Dance Slub in the early 90s as a DJ I kinda got burnt out on most country but still love some of the more Rockin country like Big N Rich, Toby Keith, Sugarland, and such. My wife on the other hand prefers country to anything and adores Carrie. lol

I stopped listening to it for quite a few years, except an occasional stint on the radio. I love rock, and top 40, as well. Tonight just felt like a country night for me :)
