After the rain....(a couple photos)

We've had so much rain here the last few weeks...and it even rained for a while today. All this rain has taken a toll on my poor flowers....

The petals are missing, and the stems are all bent over. How sad.

I've tried to prop some of the flowers back up...but I think I only made them worse. I guess there is always next year.

The inchworm does seem to be enjoying my flowers....I probably should have removed him, but I just left him alone.

The flowers are beautiful in spite of the rain, but I know how you feel. I'm surprised the rain hasn't ruined the dogwood flowers, but so far they are holding steady.

I love inchworms. They're so neat, and somehow they make me feel like a kid again. We must have gotten a bunch of rain here while we were in WV. The yard was one big soggy mess when we got back.

I know this was posted back in April, but we've been getting a lot of rain here the past two weeks.  Haley and Parker are still harder on my flowers than any rainstorm could be.  LOL 

Love the inchworm shot.  The kids and I found an inchworm a couple weeks ago, and I was telling them about how whatever the inchworm crawled on it meant you would get a new one.  You ever hear that?  LOL  Well, Parker is still asking me where his new shirt is.  LOL
