I was asked to work Sunday, but when I reported in at 6 a.m., there was already a full staff. Since I had my camera in my purse, I took pictures of the dawning day on my way home. These are photos of North Beach at sunrise. I have never been on the beach at sunrise in the 23 years we have lived here. It's about time!
Sunrise over Admiralty Inlet (where the Strait of Juan de Fuca turns south and becomes Puget Sound), Mt. Baker visible in the distance

Only the tops of the giant boulders are exposed at near-high tide

Getting closer to the water, more of the Cascade Range is visible beyond the bluff...

Mt. Baker

Mist over the bluff (Fort Worden)

In the summer, both sunrise and sunset will be visible from this beach. In the evening, it's like going to watch an outdoor movie, as many townsfolk show up for the spectacular show. Now I know it's equally beautiful in the morning. However, since I'll be working later in the day, it's time for me to go home and crawl back into bed for a while....

Hey life, don’t look at me
Featured in the Triple Name Club.
Wilma, you are too funny! You are well aware that full-staffing means there still aren't enough staff to do the work well. If it was our choice, we'd have two more caregivers.
Thank you, Katherine, but don't bet on it, LOL!
Karen, I'm glad you enjoyed your time in PT, with sunshine yet, and so close by. I hope that some time we'll be able to get together, on my turf or yours.
Blessings and best wishes - S.
