Did you make sure to buy today's Sunday paper? I noticed that a lot of my coupons expired on March 31st, so I made sure that my husband brought home two newspapers today.
I was not disappointed, when I opened up the papers and found four coupon booklets with $515 worth of coupons in each news paper.
Lately the coupons in the Sunday newspaper have been scarce, and one of our local newspapers has even begun to spread out the coupons over two days. I guess this is an attempt to make us buy two newspapers a week, but they recently raised the newspapers 25 cents, so that is not going to happen. Instead we just stick to the one local newspaper, which has all the coupons in the paper on Sundays.
In the Miami Herald and the Sun Sentinel I found two Smart Source coupon booklets, one P&G brandsaver and one RedPlum coupon booklet.

Our Sunday paper is over $2, and I don't think we would use some of the coupons twice, so I probably won't be getting a second one this week.

I find the same thing. I rarely by a generic brand.
My savings from one grocery trip to the next depends on what we need, and how good the sales are. I may spend more just becaue of the good deals, but save well over what I spent, so it works out...and then I don't need as much the next time or two I go out.
