Easter egg hunt tomorrow!

Our town is holding an Easter egg hunt at the town hall tomorrow from 10am-noon.  The Easter bunny will be there, as well as Smokey the Bear (our fire dept. is helping with this event, hence Smokey!) The kids are very excited for it!  I love these events in my town because we live in such a small town, so there aren't so many kids that the events get out of control.

We are all hoping for nice weather tomorrow. Today was miserable outside--chilly, rain, thunder, and lightening, so hopefully tomorrow the sun will make an appearance.  I will take lots of pictures and post them tomorrow night.

I hope it is a great day for the kids. Our small town does this too, but my kids are too old for it. I don't know what day it is scheduled.

Sounds like fun! There are lots and lots of Easter egg hunts here, but that's because I live in the city....there must be like 9 or 10 different ones! I don't think we're going to do anything this weekend, probably work around the house!

I loved Easter hunts when I was little. My aunt used to put money in the little plastic eggs and there was always one pink one and you knew when you found that one there was $40 in it. Of coarse I never found it cause the older kids always did but still it was what I looked forward to in April. Something I am going to carry on with my kids...

That sounds wonderful. This year in our town, which is going broke, we decided to do something a little different this year. We're have a rock hunt down at the Boy Scout Park. Should be fun.

That sounds like fun. I think our town is too small to do anything like that.

Elliott did see the Easter bunny yesterday. He said he was a funny bunny, but wouldn't get his picture taken with him.
