I've decided to start my blog on losing weight. I started journaling a little bit before, then stopped when I lost the weight. I gained the weight back and here I am again. Yo-yo dieting that's where I stand. It's a great motivator to put the type to paper and write down your goals. Once you do, great things can happen. Your focus will change and your actions will become so focused that you can only follow through.
My goal and action to go along with it is to lose 10% of my weight.
ACTION: Diet and Exercise.
Now just so I don't fall off the wagon again I intend to lose weight sensibly and push myself to continue to exercise and not stop even when I seem happy with my current weight. All too often we get happy when we reach our weight-loss goals and stop right there.
My diet is not to give up the foods I love and eat salads all the time. I am going to just become more aware of what I eat, eat more of what's good for me, and less of what's bad. Sensible eating I call it.
My exercise regimen will be to start out 3 times a week workouts for one hour at a time to workout videos or walking when the weather is nice, and to gradually increase to 5 days a week.
Now I have it all down on paper, so to speak, and I feel good about it. I think it really helps to make yourself write down your goals when it comes to losing weight. And the next time you read what I have been doing I'll keep you posted about how much weight I have lost.
