Works fine for me. I don't seem to have the problems others are talking about.

I have vista. but I have never had any trouble with it. It is just like any other windows

I don't hate it because I use OS X on my Mac, but my husband runs Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and once other hardware manufacturers released the drivers, he had no problems. My daughter runs the 32-bit version, and she's had no problems either.

Windows 7, the next operating system from Microsoft, is rumored to be ready for customer release the last week of May.

I recently bought a new computer but I ordered it and had them put Windows XP on it instead of Vista.

I did read online that only Vista users will be able to purchase the upgrade version to Windows 7; XP users will have to purchase the full version if they want to make the switch.

I have it on my laptop and it is okay. I have XP on my desktop and it doesn't seem to have as many problems as my laptop does at times.

i have it on my laptop (had no choice but to get it) and its ok. the main thing that annoys me is the high level of security it is. i know you can lower it but once you lower it there is no security at all. little things weren't made properly with vista..hopefully windows 7 is better

Have a new computer since Christmas and it came with Vista factory installed on it.
I'm not exactly sure I like it..... some features are good, but others are annoying!
My biggest complaint is that when you buy a new computer they SHOULD give you
an owner's / operator's manual with it! Hey...you spend almost $1,000.00 for a new
computer you deserve to get the book that tells you how to run the new operating
system that comes with it, right????! I had to go out and buy Windows Vista manuals
to help me figure out a lot of what an owner's manual could've / would've told me!!!
