Are not malls all Public? I ask because the one here in Lakewood is & has been baning any & all homeless person they find who pan-handles money on or around thier propity! So are they Public or Private?
I believe that the problem the mall has is with the panhandling part. Personally, I don't want to go shopping and have people asking me for money. I have kids that do that enough.
The panhandlers in our neck of the wood stand on the sidewalks outside of the malls or department stores. I don't know what the answer is. You have the folks who panhandle because they are too lazy to work and that affects how people see ALL panhandlers even though some do it because they have no other way to get money. You have to have a phone in order to get a job, don't you? These days, I can see how some folks wouldn't be able to afford one, especially if they don't have a house to put it in.
Okay, ya got me, Cara! I guess I am surprised. I'm not so sure that you can hold a job without a place to clean your clothes, sleep, etc., but sure I don't understand how a homeless person could afford to pay for a cell phone! Aren't those puppies expensive?
Terry you can pick up a trackfone for 10 bucks at walmart and a 60 min card for them is 20 bucks or you could do the monthly plan for 10 bucks which is 50 min
