A Griswold woman faces criminal charges following her arrest Wednesday for allegedly spraying Windex in the face of her 16-year-old daughter, police said.
Kimberly Logan, 44, of 12 Brown Ave., Griswold, was charged at 7:08 p.m. with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. State police said Logan was involved in an argument with her daughter when the cleaning product was used.
The daughter was not injured in the incident and refused any medical treatment, police said. Logan was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear today in Norwich Superior Court.
At the time of her arrest, Logan was free on bond in several previous pending criminal cases that include charges of violating a protective order, third-degree assault, criminal mischief and failure to appear.
Wow. I guess thta is one way to get your point across, spray your child in the face with window cleaner. Luckily she didn't do any damage to the kid's eyes or else she might be facing a really serious charge.
