I love leeks and grow them all year~ (to grow in summer, just put a shade over them )

I have fallen in love with leeks since I moved to Canada. There's even an Ontario Leek Board here. I've seen them in the supermarket for decades, but never tried any. Now I won't be without them in the house. I was first introduced to them when I bought a couple of Turkish borak that were potato and leek...fantastic.

fruits & veggies have amazing benefits to our health. Sadly, though, because of our depleted soil and habits of picking them green and then gassing them to ripeness, much of the nutritional value is long gone... That;s why the FDA has to keep upping the recommended daily servings
