Now batting.... the newest baseball group

Just a heads up that I am still cleaning out the old bin, so if you need to look and gander at anything, now's the time to do it.

Anyway (as Ellen would say), I have formed a new group on Gather about baseball called Baseball Roundup.

I want to not only cover the Majors, I want to look at the minors and independent leagues, high school and college, Little League/TBall and Softball.

There will be game stories on my favorite team, America's Team, a team that some of you may have heard of. They reside at 755 Henry Aaron Blvd. at this place called Turner Field. Yes, it's the Braves and I'll be doing game reports about the Braves on a nightly (or as close to nightly as possible.). I'm also looking for people that would be interested in covering the other 29 teams... sorry, I've already called dibs on the Braves, so you have to pick another team.

If you want to talk about Little League, high school/college, sandlot or softball (slow pitch or fast pitch), that's fine too. Just keep it to those subjects only. No travel tips, no recipies or American Idol. Anything like that will get sent to the showers.

So batter up! I might even throw in a brain teaser about the rules of the game.
