Statues at the Sacramento Zoo

On March 09, I flew out to California for work.  Before heading to El Dorado Hills where I was staying, I stopped at the Sacramento Zoo.   Here are some cool statues that were on display at the zoo.

I took pictures of real animals too but that's a separate photo essay.  :-)

I've lived here for three years and haven't made it to the zoo yet. Thanks for posting this as my husband is sculptor and this might be the enticement I need to show him so we can have a fun day at the zoo before it gets too hot here in the Sierra foothills.

The artwork is as much a reason to go to this zoo as seeing the live animals it looks like. Wow. I would be in 7th Heaven. The giraffes and the cat were especially pretty to me. I think they are my favorites.
