We picked Giaa up at the vet a bit ago, and boy, they were not joking. They explained that she is not in pain, but that she had a small reaction to being put under. Basically 1 in 10 cats have a reaction that leaves them hallucinating, and scared when they wake up. Guess what category Giaa fell into?
They gave us some syringes of liquid pain killer to give her tonight (if she calms down), and in the morning, or if she's still freaking out tonight, we can wait until morning. As the nurse said- she'll take your finger off, otherwise. Poor lil baby is terrified though. We have her shut in the bedroom, away from the other cats.
She should be up and around and feeling back to normal by tomorrow night, though. They said she is free to eat at anytime, but if we think she's not eating by tomorrow night, to try giving her a bit of canned cat food, because she'll be more likely to eat that.
Poor baby :( She's not happy with us at all. Nick thought they were exaggerating.
