Love these. Great pictures and as you say, "Social Commentary."I always wished I had gone to college just so I could do a Spring break. The best I ever got was a fifteen day leave from the Air force after basic training. I came home and collapsed

Nice shots. I'm surprised you went to spring break. At my age, I'd stear very clear of these type festivities, lol. I hope all those cans were picked up off the beach.

Excellent photo essay, Jenn. Thank God not all young people feel obliged to get hammered every year. Some actually go out and do community service work during Spring Break. I'm sure I will meet at least "some" of these people in the rooms of AA sometime in the future!

The white sand of course is caused by too many vistors who do not use Head N Shoulders shampoo.
Instead of an annual egg hunt you have a beer can hunt. I hate to break this to you, but the beer isn't very well hidden.

wow - these are some of the very best pictures of spring break - you really did a good job and I loved each of these pictures - of course, I am a beach person and do prefer that side of the states because it's warmer and the sand is whiter!!! Thanks. Happy spring. SAlud

Traveling south one spring we booked a room in a beach side motel near Ft. Lauderdale not even thinking of Spring Break - we didn't stay there long. Ha ha ha ha

I loved your photos. I feel sorry for those that attend just to stay drunk for the break - they probably don't remember any of it!
