Wow, is Disneyland expensive on food or what? Not only is it expensive but some of it just isn't that good. We spent more on food then anything else. If I hadn't had a little of my tax return and Gather earnings, I would have packed an ice chest and checked it in at one of the lockers at the front gate. None of us were enthused about doing that so we didn't do it this time.
Here are some pictures of some of our meals:
Breakfast:
We had planned to eat in the car before going into Disneyland but no one felt up to eating yet so we didn't push it.

D. got a cinnamon roll with a side of bacon, biscuit and a chocolate milk. She seemed to like hers but left half of her cinnamon roll (it was big)

Carleen with her $4.59 botte of orange juice (ouch! she didn't notice the price at the time she bought it) and her meal. Country friend potatoes, eggs, biscuit and sausage. The seasoning on the potatoes wasn't that good we thought.

My oldest son who was sulking because he said the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and the Haunted Mansion ride scared him so he was dreading the rest of the day. He had two pancakes, bacon and egg plus an apple juice. He asked for it and then hardly ate anything.

My middle son was on his ADHD medication and it makes him not that hungry during the day. I insisted and he agreed to drink an apple juice.

I got the same thing as Carleen. Her daughter took the picture and while she saw me taking a picture of everyone else, full body, she said I didn't say to include my head so here I am headless, rather an attractive shot of my body with my food. I found the sausage very yucky. I had a small bottle of water with my meal.
On to lunch:
Lunch was also expensive. Carleen didn't have as much money as I did so I went ahead and bought some things for us to share in addition to what she bought.
C bought her and D some stuff. I believe she may have each gotten hera fry and a drink and D an apple and drink.
I went in and bought two pizzas:

The pizza was only ok. We didn't care much for the sauce. Carleen ate some, I did, my Middle son ate some and my oldest son ate some even though before he didn't want any pizza. The pizzas both came with a bag of sliced apples, though I did not take a picture of that.
My oldest wanted french fries. I told him we'd share them but he put ketchup on the top of them right away, even though he never does it on top at home. He ate a few and then "was full" and didn't want anymore. :/

At the checkout, I had bought this:

So pretty isn't it. In the shape of a moon, with sprinkles and frosting over it. Looks almost magical. yeah, until we tried to eat it. I don't know what off brand Rice Krispy's (and it was not the name brand) used but it was gross. I'm not sure if it was old or not but no one wanted to go back in and stand in a long line to try to return it. It cost $3.50.
And I got the kids and I a small box of apple juice. I couldn't justify spending a ton of money on a soda in a cup that would be hard to carry around.
Snacks:
During the day the kids got a cotton candy, lots of drinks. We ate the apple slices we got with lunch in some of the lines.
Dinner:
I got no dinner pictures. I got sick at the end of the night, the kids were whinny, though I can say Carleen's daughter was worse with the whining. I really appreciated my kids at the end of the night.
Anywho, for dinner:
D. got chicken strips and fries.
I bought the kids a kids meal chicken strips with apple strips and I think it came with a drink.
I bought a chicken strips meal with fries and shared the fries with the kids.
I also bought a funnel cake that the kids had been looking at. It was a chocolate one with chocolate brown bites on it. Everyone ate some of it.
And that was that.
