I say a prayer for strength and patience and peace in my heart!
I take a deep breath, do some light stretches, or enjoy a 5-10 minute walk.
I listen to or sing along to some favorite music, or dance a little to the tunes.
Treating yourself to a day at the spa, a massage, or a relaxing evening with a book and cup of chamomile.
I find that a nice walk by myself helps me with my daily struggles. It is har to do that in the Winter, but as soon as it gets warmer around here I walk everyday! When I can't get out to walk a phone call to my Sister seems to help.
hi Lori
I saw that someone mentioned walks to help go smoother. I always thought my life was at its very best when walking. It clears the head, sheds the weight, aided me in balance and movement. And I had bouncing energy. I would swear by walking.
I've noticed though recently I need a partner with me when I workout otherwise I get bored
And stretching, now that has really helped me these last so many weeks. I am finding stretching makes an incredible difference in physical comfort. What about the rest of you? I'm in my latee 50's, so the rest of you might not be to the get stiff and ache stage yet.
For my grandmothers, for my mother and for me--gardening is a big part of the answer
