Question - Disney moments..

I'm a big Disneyland person.

I love to take people for their first visit to Disneyland.. be it an adult or a child.. I love to be there to see the looks on their faces when they go to Disneyland for the first time.

I have a lot of relatives that live overseas so some of them have never been to the park before.. so it's always nice to take them for that first experience.

My question is:
What do you like most about Disneyland.. or any Disney park.. be it a ride.. or parade.. or memories.. or moments.. whatever makes Disneyland special to you..

We took our kids to DisneyWorld when they were 7 and 5. It was great. We stayed on site and the maid made little animals out of the washcloths and would arrange the kids toys and stuffed animals on the bed so it looked like they were watching t.v. or playing with their games. It was cool when we would get back from the parks.

I've never been to Disneyland, always go to WDW. It's hard to name just one thing. I love that special feeling that overtakes you the moment you pass under the Railroad Station and step onto Main Street USA and see Cinderella Castle in all its glory. I don't know why, but it always puts a slight tear in my eye. Being submersed in all of the attractions, parades, shows, etc. make me feel like a kid again and I totally forget about the real world - even if it is but a short week out of the year!

We took our kids to Disneyworld twice when they were young. We all loved everything about it.

I do not like Disney World, but I absolutely love Disneyland. It kind of has a nostalgic thing for me having spent my first seven years living near Anaheim and going to Disneyland a lot. The main thing I like nowadays is that the parks are all right near each other and I do not feel like I am wasting time swtiching parks like at Disney World. A must for me every trip is Dumbo because that was my favorite ride as a kid. Now we also like to go on Buzz a lot and boy was the Disney World version a disappointment when we went back to it after having rode Buzz at Disneyland preopening and opening week. I also like the new Toy Story Mania ride, but I wish they did fast pass on that one, as I hate the winding of that queue with my brother's wheelchair.

Well, last time I went I was 17. The thing I liked most was the afterhours beer party the guys who ran Treasure Island invited us to. I especially liked the three young guys from Bear Country. Nice fringed pants, yo.
