Love graphics but hate the size?

The answer is to resize them! All it takes is a simple html coding. You need to add a width and height to your html coding. Something like width="75" height="75" will work nicely. The important thing is to play with the size until you get it to the point that you are happy with while still keeping it in the right proportion.

What I do is if it is too large, I right click on the image and then select properties. Here I can see the original size of the image. Then I multiply the width and height by the same percentage until I find the size that I want. For instance, if the original image size is 200 x 400 and I want it to be cut in half, I would multiply both 200 and 400 by the same .50 to get the new image size of 100 x 200.

If you need help getting to a size, please feel free to ask. It's not that difficult. If I can do it, then anyone can!

Love the graphics, just resize them to something more to your liking.

Here is a sample that I use often.... Just add a < before and a > after to get it to work right.

Actually you can make this much easier on yourself by eliminating the height parameter. Instead, just enter the width. Gather automatically scales the image to the appropriate proportion.

Please note the following maximum widths:

Comments: 458 pixels
Pings (profile page): 318 pixels
Pings (full listing): 463 pixels

Thanks for the heads up Kevin! I learned it the hard way of doing both several years ago. I tend to do most things the hard way I think. lol I like the automatic scaling! Anything to make life easier and more fun has to be a good thing.
