Been Traveling, finally stopped!

Hi there Gather Art & Dance enthusiests!

Sorry it has been soooooo long since I have posted.... well just about anything!

I have been a little bit busy getting a new start on Life!

1. Got divorced. He said 3 girl friends and a wife were too stressfull. He paid for everything, but no allimony or anything like that.

2. Had my last big show with some wonderful friends on New Year's Eve.

3. Moved from El Paso, Texas to Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA in the middle of January.  Went north through Albuquerque and Santa Fe, Colorado Springs, Denver, Cheyenne (WY), Columbus (Nebraska), Sioux Falls (South Dakota), through a winter fog bank and then up to Winnipeg!

 The roads were fine until I got to South Dakota, from then on it was a driving adventure. However, the dog, the cat, the BD costumes and I all made it safely. Visiting family and friends along the way.

4. Moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Nonsan, South Korea March 15th. The dog & cat are fine with my dad in Winnipeg (original home to the real Winnie the Pooh!) but 1/2 the Belly Dance costumes, paint brushes, laptop computer & some books came with me and my suitecases to South Korea.

I am now teaching at Kon-yang University, and have a belly dance club and a healthy cooking class that I teach. I am still managing my graphic design work and will try to start producing some fine art works soon. (soon as I get an easil & canvas that is)

I met up with some of my old friends in Uijongbu that I knew from when I was here from 1997 - 2003. We had a great reuinion on the weekend! I also made some new friends at the KOTESOL conference on Saturday in Seoul.

The Strawberry Festival is in 2 weeks (same weekend as Easter). Nonsan produces 15% of the nation's strawberrys. I live in one the more organic concious communities in Korea. SESIL is a large company here devoted to producing natural predators for gardening. Using insects that prey on the insects that eat at  the plants instead of pesticides. The air is really clean here compared to the BIG cities like Seoul.

So that is mostly why I haven't been on gather in the last few months.
