Now that the majority of the snow is melted in our yard, we can assess what needs to be done in terms of Spring and summer maintenance. My husband takes great pride in the appearance of our lawn and landscaping. He tends to the lawn, while I tend to all of our flower beds. We just enjoy spending a lot of time in our yard during the warmer months.
This year, it appears as though we have been invaded by voles...they are basically a little rodent that can invade your lawn and garden and do some serious damage. Basically, they are a pain in the butt. Our friend had them last year and put some special stuff on his lawn to get rid of them. So, I believe that is first on the list, well, after the yard gets raked anyway. Next on the list is some seed and fertilizer. My husband lays new seed every year because bald spots are inevitible.
We are hoping to have some of this completed before we leave for our Disney getaway on April 16th.
