Some days I am good, some days I am not so good about maintaining my focus and efficiently completing my 'To Do List'. I rarely am late with deadlines, but I do p
rocrastinate, at times, which causes an unnecessary rush to completion on projects large and small. It is far too easy to burn time reading E-mails, surfing the Internet, and looking for things to do other than the pressing task at hand - a task that I don't really 'want to do', but is mandatory, thus unavoidable at some point. There is no excuse for procrastination, other than it is easy to do, and it postpones the inevitable. Procrastination causes anxiety because projects pile up and deadlines loom. Procrastination is a New Year Resolution assassin. Procrastination can get you in trouble with the boss, spouse, family, friends . . . Need I say more? Procrastination is not a good habit to adopt, but it is a popular, though naughty, companion.
With that in mind, I intend to work hard to 'Stop Procrastinating, as part of my I Resolve To . . . Challenge: 365 Resolutions For Health & Happiness. Why not join me? The objective is very simple: Do at least one thing each and every day to promote health and happiness for 'YOU'. Banish the 'Someday, Someday, Someday Syndrome'. Instead, make every day New Year's Day. Make every day count. The list of possibilities is infinite and can be tailored to your own dreams, resolutions and daily goals. I consider myself very fortunate though, not to be tied up with cell phones and the like. So many people are tied to those for an untoward amount of hours a day and are never really in a single moment because they are tied to two moments at once. I have seen a lot of these people really let huge things pile up on them, and let themselves be totally overwhelmed when due dates are near. I always want to shout, "Turn off the phone!" but it would do little good, as making that suggestion, even in a mild way, is largely ineffective.

Kim - you just won't believe my garden!!! The corn are green and beginning to get little leaves :)
...now finishing the laundry, that can wait untill tomorrow...
I have resolved to work better under pressure = so I can always make my deadlines! :)
Have a good weekend Kim!
I did set my sites on a crochet doiley, but kept putting it off-looked too difficult, with a very thin thread and hook, and the pattern. Well I set my mind to it and finished it today! well, almost-just have to weave in the thread ends and block it, but i can at least pat myself on the back for "getting it done"
Thanks for the encouragement Kim :)
