Vivian, no. This is self contained and when the water is gone you toss it away and get a new bottle.

Have you tried it? My daughter told me about Netti pots years ago and I told my husband who really would benefit from it and he ignored me. Two years later he read an article in the newspaper about them and thought he might like to try it (he is so stubborn) so i bought him one and he uses it semi regularly and his allergy problems disappeared.

A friends of mine who is an immigrant from Eastern Europe said she grew up with cleaning your nose on a daily basis. She said they just use tap water. My husbands netti Pot came with a salt solution to add to the water.

When I'm in the states I'll give this a try. It looks like an easier (no fuss) way to do it.

saline is great, do you know during cold season spraying saline up your nose before you go shopping or what ever makes the sinus passages hostile to cold and flu germs. I use it all the time. and most salines are all the same I just use the cheap stuff from any drug store usually 2.00 or under its a whole lot better than getting sick.

That should be a good product. I learned from a German Pharmacist to rinse my sinus cavities with a strong salt solution. Sucking it up a nostril and turning head from side to side making it go through all the cavities. Doing this over and over until all that crud drains. Hard to do and I think a little salt solution , keeping the nose rinsed would help.
Plus Afrin is a great product.

Kat, I finally found it. I got it in CVS. It was on sale from $14.99 to $9.99. I used the $3.00 off coupon and then got $3.00 in CVS bucks. If it helps me I will go back with the CVS bucks and get more while on sale. Yipee!

The ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor will tell you that when your sinuses are plugged, the best thing to do is take a dip in the ocean. (salt H2O)
This is certainly easier and you don't have to get all wet!
