Got my Green Giant "vouchers" yesterday

For those who didn't see the original post, I had an "issue" with Green Giant canned veggies, which you can read about here.  I emailed them and they responded, with a response you can read here.

Anyway, I received their vouchers/coupons yesterday. I received 4 coupons for free bagged/jarred Green Giant products, up to $3.30 each.  Jarred?? What jarred items does GG have? And canned goods are usually about $1 or so each (less for me as I only buy on sale). So..how can I make the most of these vouchers? I know some brands have 4-packs of canned veggies. I wonder if GG does... hmm.. I think I've only seen Del Monte do that.  Anyone have any ideas?

 

I'm happy to have them, but I'm just a little grossed out about eating canned goods at the moment. LOL  I did use some a couple of days ago but wouldn't add them to my casserole until I'd searched thoroughly for unwanted "features."  I was hoping I could get frozen veggies with them, but I guess not.

You could probably find some large bags of frozen green giant vegetables in the freezer section of the grocery store.

yes, I would go for the big bags of frozen ones.....it will be easier to see any unwanted additions LOL

We buy almost exclusively frozen anyway, so that's definitely what I would do.

They have jarred mushrooms but I would buy Frozen or if you like some of their other canned like asparagus. They also make complete meals and their frozen corn on the cob is good.

glad you got your coupons Renita. After reading the above comments, looks like you have some good answers. The only thing that I can think of that comes in a jar, is pickled beets, but as with the rest of the comments, you just have to look around.
