Over at Library Thing Early Reviewers: Free advance copies of books
In todays economy it can be very hard to feed my book addiction, so when an Aaron Lazar, (author of LeGarde Mysteries) aplazar told me about Library Thing I was instantly hooked. I signed up and have a wonderful catalogue of all my books, including books that I have won here at Gather; are now entered into my Library. It is a wonderful way to keep track of my book collection, chat with Book Authors and catch up on the latest releases. They also hold the occassional contest for writing reviews. ( I won an upgraded membership last year which is awesome.)
Want to see some of my latest reviews, then become a member of my gather group: April's Book Reviews aprilsbkreviews.gather.com where you can also discover the most popular books of the hour and browse an RSS feed of my Library Thing reviews.
What is Early Reviewers? Publishers give away advance copies of books all the time, and Library thing gives them away . If you sign up you can get books for free and before everyone else, and you have a wide audience for your review.
They also encourage you to post the same review to other sites like here at gather or Amazon.com
