Just got done watching "Twilight"

Man oh man, what an intense, sensual flick.  I have to say that I really didn't have high hopes about the movie. I mean, yeah, I wanted to see it, but I didn't know how good it would be, despite all my friends telling what a great movie it is.

Intense, sensual........yet, not in a porn like kind of way.  I really liked that their love was a given, but it was kind of an unspoken kind of thing.  I don't know if that makes sense or not.  And could the main actor guy (aka: Edward, in the movie) be any more handsome?

If you have not seen this movie, I strongly urge you to do so.

I haven't seen this but know that all my oldest son's friends are in love with the movie. The GIRLS anyway. I had no idea it was so 'sensual' like you said though... that kinda grosses me out now that I think about a 12 yr old girl watching it.

I watched the movie with my 15-year-old daughter last night. I've read the books and now watched the movie and both were o.k. I'm not wild about them like most are.

Oh man! I was out at Wal Mart today and FORGOT to buy it! *geez*
I didn't think it was that great. Sensual for teens, sure, but not in the real life sense, I guess.

We watched it last night. Our best friends came over with the rental, and I wanted to see what all the hype that my now 18 yr old niece is into now. I actually liked it! It has a wonderful story, and about the love that was there but didnt get to show really until the end, that was great! It keeps you going, and I can see the hype... He is hott! :)

yes, Edward Cullen=hot.....LOL....how old is he in real life??? I don't even think I know who he is or what other movies he has been in.
I just can't watch teen vampire stuff anymore. Maybe Buffy spoiled it for me.

Too funny.....I watched it tonight, too. My daughter bought the DVD and no one else was home earlier in the evening so we sat and watched it together. Edward's eyes creeped me out at times!

I have always been a HUGE fan of vampire books and movies, and have read and seen most of them out there (that I can get my hands on anyway), and well....so, NOT a fan of Twilight...books or the movie. I managed my way through the first 3 books, and I am finishing the last one now just to have the whole series done, but honestly it's like actual "work" to me, and I really love reading...LOL. The movie really annoyed me more than anything else, because now I have an actual visual to go with the books. One character stood out to me though...would love to see a series done about the werewolves and Jacob! I liked Edward's character enough, and the Cullen family in general is very interesting to me...I think I'd just like to see them developed more outside of a book aimed at "teens" and get some better, more mature situations in there...maybe see more of the Italian vampires interact with them. My biggest problem with the books and movie is Bella :::cringe::: her character just irks me to no end! LOL Of course, all just my opinion...I know everyone else loves Twilight! =)

I haven't seen Twilight. I might eventually, but I'm not in any big hurry to see it.

The guy who plays Edward is Cedric Diggory in the fourth Harry Potter movie. That's all I've ever seen him in, though. I think I read somewhere that he's 21 or 22.

I pay per viewed it the other night. I could see the appeal that it would have for women and my wife enjoyed it much more that I did. I wasn't real impressed and found it very 90210 ish. I guess I'm just too old. :)

It's NOTHING compared to the book! If you actually liked the movie, you should totally read the book....
I have not seen it yet. But I really want to buy the movie to add to my collection.

Sarah, I JUST got done watching the movie like 20 minutes ago. Now yes I will agree the lead actor is smoking!!! But then reality sinks in and I think DAMN I could be that boys' mother - bummer!!! But hot nonetheless...

The movie was okay, I think geared way more towards teens. Intense yes, I get that, you could almost feel their attraction emanating off the screen. So they did a great job with that.

The first 2 books were pretty good - the last 2 completely unbelievable EVEN for a vampire/werewolf book... Sorry, just my opinion.

If you love the movie, read the books---way better, and more sensual. :o)

The 2nd in the series was hard for me to get through---the first half, especially...
Bella has a major case of the blues going on---understandable, once you read it, but still... it was a drag on the storyline, I think, that it lasted for so much of the book.
But I Love the series, as a whole!!

I don't find edward handsome at all, I am out on my own here but eww! I refuse to watch this, if you want a really good vampire story go rent Moonlight TV Serious DVD. It's awesome!
