A sense of purposelessness
akin to some pain
is stabbing my heart.
I seek the touch
of the nearest wall for support.
It slips away.
“He is falling!” someone cries.
Wrong, wrong, wrong!
I have been fallen long before that.

The second one, I can relate to. I've been feeling like that too, lately.
It is so sad that so many people feel that the second fits them.
Someone famous (enlighten me) said, "The purpose of life is a life of purpose." How can one live without purpose?
