Spring is around the corner - what flowers will bloom for me?

Shannon is inspiring me all over the place today!

First of all, she posted a picture of her kitty's eyes for Bhawana's zoomit week and that spurred me to create my own photo essay full of E Y E S for the 'E' challenge. So thanks Shannon!

Then I saw a picture she posted of a flower poking its way through some leaves and that got me thinking about how this Spring is going to be especially exciting for me because we bought our house last Fall when the only flowers in bloom were lilacs. A random rose bloomed in the December (weird?) but that was it. I actually have NO idea what kind of flowers we have here!

This is just really exciting to me because as you know, I love to take pictures, so you'll get to see some new ones from me once things start blooming.

So... I live in Oregon... what kind of flowers do you think will be blooming at my house?

I think tulips, daffodils and flowers like that can grow pretty anywhere.

I am personally hoping that someone posts some Lily of the Valley on Freecycle again this year. It's my absolute favorite floral scent!

I also love the smell of Liliacs!! You're so lucky to have some at the new place. I wish our place had flowers when we moved in. I, for a woman, am awful at decorating, gardening etc. Maybe someday I'll find someone that can come on over and clue me in. My house looks so plain!

I have no idea. I don't even know what flowers grow here, although I'm sure it's not many. ;) I don't even really like flowers anyway, though.
