Police arrest man with stolen hubcaps in his refrigerator

If you're had your hubcaps stolen, especially if you drive a Volkswagen or Toyota, the Altamonte Springs Police Department would like to talk to you.

Earlier this week, 48-year-old Jard Koompone was arrested in the parking lot of the Burlington Coat Factory, 130 E. Altamonte Drive, after he was spotted stealing hubcaps from a vehicle, Officer Timothy M. Hyer said. He faces a charge of vehicle burglary, Hyer said.

When officers were allowed to search Koompone's Apopka home, they found 105 hubcaps there.

Why in the world would you need to steal that many hubcaps.  They aren't even something that valuable, especially if you are stealing them off Toyota's and Volkswagon's.
