What do you call pop?

Up here in Minnesota, we call it "pop." Otherwise known as soda or coke. My favorite is Diet Dr. Pepper.

I'm originally from MN so I call it pop, but I live in NJ now so I try to say soda so that no one makes fun of me for saying pop. haha.
I like Diet Coke best.

It's pop for the most part in MIchigan, but in HS, I got in the habit of calling it Soda.

I say Pop but people here in Massachusetts don't know how to talk and the natives say soda. Kinda like them dropping their r's (or adding them where they don't belong!) and that type of thing. =)

I call it either one. I'm from southern Missouri, and it's pop or soda-pop to most people there. Here in ND, it seems to usually be called soda.

Pop where I come from (NY) is a type of music.

Here in WI they call soda Pop. I'm resistant to it and call it soda as I have all my life.

In Montana where I grew up, it was "pop." However, out here in Oregon, it depends on where the person grew up...you can always tell an Easterner when they call is soda.

In Texas, we call it Coke. Doesn't matter if its sprite, coke, orange soda, or big red. We call it all coke. :)

Well when I lived in Pa.I called it pop, when I moved to Florida people thought pop was my dad.. lol

I call it soda, but grew up calling it pop in NE. My exhusband's family was all from the south and they called it soda. If I asked him to get me a pop he'd punch my arm and say there's your pop, so I got used to calling it soda pretty quick :)
Pop for me, but then I am from Minnesota!

I call it either pop or soda. To me Coke only means Coke, not Pepsi, or other sodas. Diet Mountain Dew is my favorite, but I really like Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Pepsi too.

Here, coke is a generic term. When someone is going to the vending machine and asks if you want a coke, he then ask what kind.

I grew up in ohio and we called it pop . I still call it that and when someone in the store hears me say that they always say you must be from up north lol I like 7 up
