Clear thin glass the only barrier
between her and the vast outdoors
sheer curtains lightly drape her
shrouded from walls and floors
she stands bracketed
not in not out
but quiet
naked
still

The challenge prompting this write was to write a nonet interpreting any of a selection of photos. I was not provided the source of this photo, so I cannot credit the photographer. A nonet is a set of nine lines with descending numbers of sylables beginning with a nine sylable first line.
