Healing Devotional #1.
My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
1 Corinthians 12:9.
This is what God said to Paul when he asked for the thorn to be taken out of his side. We are not told what Paul’s problem was; we are only told that it was consistent. He asked for relief from it three times, and this was what God said. Paul knew from this statement that God made that if he leaned on God’s strength, he would be okay. That everything would go according to God’s plan, and he would be able to achieve the work that God wanted him to do. His Grace was enough.
Paul’s ministry began after God struck him blind on the way to Damascus. This was the first sign of God’s choosing him. The Lord had gotten his attention and he knew what he had to do. He traveled throughout the land, teaching that Jesus’ death and Resurrection had paid for the sins of mankind. When he was weak, he leaned on God’s strength of Grace.
Lord, help me to stay strong in Your grace. Let me do Your will, trusting in You for theameans to od it, and make me lean on You, drawing strength from Your word. Amen.

Gods grace will be all we'll have to get us through
Hi Claudia,
You seem so sincere in your efforts to serve God. I find the best way to stay in touch is "unceasing prayer." Prayer can be expressed in many ways--one way is just seeking to see everyone as God would see him. I find myself in situations and I ask myself, "What is God doing right now?" How does God see this person?" Surprisingly, right answers come to my thought that help me work through or out of every situation. God speaks to us through our thoughts. I find that I do not have to beg God for anything. He has made us to express all that He is. WE just have to acknowledge it and become aware that He does.
I hope this helps. Stay firm in your desires.
Mamie
