This movie was extremely thought provoking. This movie had some plausability to it, it had that this could happen factor.

The lastest from Nicolas Cage has him playing a single father, John. In 1959 a time capsule is buried at the school -50 years later it is dug up and it's contents are given out to the present day kids.  John's son Caleb gets the strange numeral page, at first it makes no sense then he realizes that the numbers are dates , deaths and coordinates.

He tries to figure out a way of saving people but it dosen't go to well. He meets up with the daughter of the author of the paper and it seems that they have something in common- her daughter and his son both here the Whisper people telling them terrible things are going to happen. ...and they do.

This movie left me and my daughter with our mouths open. I actually teared up at the end. So did alot of others. I felt stunned as I left the theater. The movie was packed and from the chatter I heard..I think the audience was also.

I want so bad to talk about the ending..but since this just came out I will refrain!

So, I take it this is NOT one to wait for the video to come out? I've only seen this advertised once and couldn't remember the name of it. I'm glad you did this. We both love Nicolas Cage movies. I may have to ask for a date night. ;) It's been a long time.

The trailers fascinated me and I wanted to see it when (if) it comes to town. Now I definitely will. I normally don`t like Nick Cage (I fell asleep during `Raising Arizona`and several others of his). He does seem to be getting a better actor.

I really want to see this one. Although I think Nicolas Cage is kind of odd, I really like him in movies.
