I may be Homeless but I am far from worthless!

I am homeless and live in my Ford (SUV) truck that I just got about 3 weeks ago. There are some who come to the library here in Lakewood, Ca. that made a comment that all of the homeless are worthless bums and should be shiped out of California. Now I kno not al of the homeless are like I am. I have seen some even drink alcohol and use drugs. I for one do not use drugs or even drink any kind of alcohol. Why would someone say things that they have no knowlage about? When I asked them to prove it to me they couldn't, I then told them that I was Homeless and I did not drink or use drugs. Well they called the cops and the cops thold them to mind thier own business!

The reason is because they are blinded by steriotypes and when they think of one thing all they go by is what is "known" of it. I am so very sorry that people are such jerks! I wish everyone in the would could take a min to get to know about someone before judging them so poorly

they are stupid and don't have anything else better to do. I am so proud that I got to know you. Not all Homeless are bad people. It's so very sad to see people without jobs and homes. We got to stick together.

People tend to say harsh things especially if they are uncomfortable with something, saying all homeless people are worthless gives them permission not to step up and help try to change someones life, it is just an excuse for them, don't let them worry you
