The Hebrew People, who cling to Yahweh for their very survival, and have for thousands of years, are His chosen people; and though they have made mistakes, like even Christians and the New Testament Church (Catholics and other Christians) have, they are the very Apple of His eye, and He has planned to bless them and to bless the earth through them.

I have heard many say that we Americans and English people are one of the lost tribes of Israel.
Even if we are or not, it is always powerful to think of a people that were chosen specifically by God. It really makes me feel the great magnitude of God.
Of course, we were all chosen when Jesus died for us, it just comes down to us accepting having been chosen.
