Bailey gearing up for the season

Bailey put on his new baseball pants and new cleats for this baseball season. Of course, I had to return the cleats I got him and get him the next size up! (I swear, that kids feet grow every week!)  He didn't put on his baseball socks though and we don't have his uniform shirt yet.  I also bought him a brand new equipment bag which he is beyond excited about!  He took out his bat and wanted to "start warming up and getting ready for the season."  He really cracks me up sometimes!!! Here are some pictures I took of him today.

He's such a cutie! And, you might want to be glad he grows out of his shoes instead of wearing them out before he can grow out of them. I used to wear mine out faster than I'd grow out of them and my parents were having to replace shoes a lot! I'm still hard on shoes. Tennis shoes last me about eight or nine months. Sometimes a year. If I'm that bad at 50, just imagine what I was like at 10?

Cade's first game is this coming Saturday. He is only 5, but we start them young here in Texas! Anyway... Cade is still able to wear last season's cleats, but I bet I will be buying a new pair before it is over! (We have two seasons here --- Spring and Falll, so his cleats are from Fall season, and only a few months old!)
