my husband and I are nonsmokers, but seeing smoking on tv has my kids 'pretending' to smoke, regardless of what warnings we give or how we dont approve. its horrible, i agree that celebs are people too but the right thing would be to make cigareetes/cigars/tobacco ilegal
I find that seeing someone smoke on TV gives me or my sons an opportunity to open a discussion about the topic. People smoke on TV, on the streets... now even at the White House. It isn't going to go away... it's better to teach kids to deal with issue.
i can see that its not ideal for them to be smoking as it might lead to younger shildren smoking. But if he was smoking hookah pipes in Eastern themed restraunt would there still be an issue.
