Sigh. Ever since the last upgrade, I've had this glitch.
I learned long ago that one must always create a post in a word program, then copy and paste it here at Gather. The moment I forget that is when my post will disappear. So I do this 99% of the time.
I also learned long ago that if I'm spending a lot of time tweaking after I've copied and pasted it here - perhaps if I'm adding photos - then I have to save as a draft periodically, otherwise the post might still be lost into cyberspace when I hit "submit".
The newest glitch is related to saving as a draft. Whenever I hit "save as draft", the function is performed and I see the title appear in "my drafts". But on the body of the post, the word "loading" appears and will not go away. I cannot proceed because the page is loading and loading and loading and loading, endlessly loading.
I did discover, though, that I can open a new page and go to "share" and edit the draft I have just created that way. I'm glad I made that discovery. It was a bit of a pain sitting here and waiting and waiting and waiting while the icon said it was loading and loading and loading...and never appearing to finish.
Grrr. I've said it before. I'm not a very patient person. I work on that. But glitches like this test my patience.

I think it must be some kind of "rule" that if you didn't copy it/gather knows and sends you into "POOF" land.... ahhhhh!!!!
I can't tell you how frustrating it is to post your comment, copy and paste related material, post related photos, hit submit and be unable to post the article.
I too, used notepad for my original comments, but it doesn't support the cut and paste properties that the Gather format accepts.
So yes it a pain, but it's been going on so long, I guess Gather is at a loss too.
Anyway, hang in their. Maybe this is a Gather survival of the fittest test. lol
Have a great day.

And you're absolutely RIGHT! The ONE article that I don't create ahead of time (I do it in "Notepad" in plain text instead of "Word" because I found a long time ago that there were formatting problems when I pasted it from Word) and then paste into Gather's editor will be THE ONE that gets sent off into "cyberspace limbo"!
Funny how that works, isn't it?
LOL!
Often problems of this nature are caused by low browser memory or resources. I would suggest restarting your browser and trying to reproduce the problem immediately after restart. If that doesn't work, reboot your PC and then try again.
If none of the above offers any relief, then you should try opening your browser in "Safe Mode", in case there is a conflict with an add-on or extension.
Good luck!
