a lot of us have had to deal with buying or reciving a wedding ring in our life. some spend a lot, some not so much. the question here is do you regret spending or having your spouse spend too much / too little on your wedding rings?
we didnt spend all that much. and i dont regret it at all. i spent within my limits. she seems to be happy with the ring. i just have one of those tungston carbide thingys. so it was about 30 bucks. im happy.

but to some people it is peer pressure, my sons girl friend wants a 15,000 ring, it has to be 2 carrots and this and that
She said she has to have the same as her friends have
she is also one who buys $1000 hand bags lol
Our wedding rings didn't cost a thing, as they are family heirlooms (they belonged to my late grandparents). We love them. They're beautiful, and sentimental.
A $1,000 handbag? WHAT THE.... Yeah I know someone who did that once and.... well I can't say anything nice about what I think of spending that much on a handbag, so I'm going to stop now. YIKES!!!! I'd like to see $1,000 in my savings account somewhere. THAT would be nice. My handbag is a re-useable groccery bag. It does the job.
Does a person need a ring to say they are married?
I read recently you should spend three months salary on your wife's wedding ring.
I did like my thin gold band, it never caught on anything.
Congratulations!
