Greetings Folks:
A few months ago, I was looking at Phyllis R.'s pictures of a weekend outing with her handsome hubby. She had taken pictures at an antique shop not far from where she lives. My eagle eye saw a carnival doll similar to one that my beloved Aunt Sylvia Plank had given me years and years before. She had won it at a 1930's carnival! It was locked up in a glass bookcase and the key was lost. I immediately wrote to Philly and mentioned I wanted that doll - she sent her husband to get it and sent it to me. I've been dying to put the two together to see the similiaries. Here they are!

Don't they look like Sistahs! Philly-Ana is original chalkware. She is signed by A.C. Guiliani. Philly is a later version, I think from the 40's. They are both beautiful. Thanks for viewing. Thanks again, Sistah Philly. Salud

These are too cute.
I have a collection of chalk ware fruit that used to hang in every kitchen in America during the same period. Sometimes I think I am channeling my own grandmother.
They look amazing together.....they are definitely sisters. (Reminds me of those shows where one sibling is looking for another after many many years and they finally find each other). It was meant for them to find each other, ---"Sisters together~~Friends forever"!! (Just like you and I my Luv!!!)
Sharon noticed the boobs - soooooo funny....
Thanks Lynn!!!
Charles thank you for dropping in....how's your baby???
Kenn, I love your new look - you are the best!!!! Thanks everyone - I really am happy that all of you got to see these two girls! Salud
