Do you need a boost of energy to get you through your busy day? Rather than reaching for whatever’s convenient, why not choose a healthy and natural solution?

Gather invites you to take part in the Cranergy® Challenge! For one week, we want you to set aside your usual pick-me-up beverages and instead try a bottle of Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink from Ocean Spray® when you need a little lift. Cranergy® is an energy juice drink made with green tea extract and B-vitamins, which give you a natural kind of energy that helps you get stuff done.

For a chance to join the Cranergy® Challenge and receive a week's supply of Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink, answer the following question in the comment field below:

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?

25 Gather members will be selected to receive seven bottles each of Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink from Ocean Spray®. Recipients must use these samples once a day for one week in place of caffeinated and unhealthy beverages, then return to Gather to discuss how Cranergy® worked as a healthier alternative to their usual energy drinks.

For a chance to receive a free sample, post your answer to the question above in the comment field of this post by Tuesday, March 31st. Gather will select 25 respondents to receive free samples of Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink for the challenge. If you don't receive a sample, you're still invited to take part in the Cranergy® Challenge.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Recipients of the Cranergy® samples will receive a private message from Stefanie Plum, Gather Partner Team, informing them they have been selected.

Recipients must take the challenge and then share a post about it by Saturday, May 2nd.. In your post discuss:

  • Why you need an energy drink in the middle of your day
  • Your opinion on the taste of Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink from Ocean Spray
  • How it worked in place of your usual energy beverage
  • Whether or not you'd continue to drink Cranergy® Energy Juice Drink from Ocean Spray®
  • Photos are encouraged!

I'd love to participate. I like cranberry juice drinks, especially the mixed ones by Ocean Spray like Gran-Grape and Cran-Apple.

As a SAHM I need a boost in the morning to get going. I usually reach for Orange Juice, but now taking allergy meds, OJ causes them to not work as well.
I love Cranberries and Cranberry Juice.

I need a boost in the middle of my day because I start to feel a little rundown at that time. I homeschool my children and we have quite a few activities outside the home. So, we are on the go a lot. This is in addition to the day to day routine of doing everything inside the home.

I drink tons of coffee but I am exhausted by the early evening. It seems to keep up with three kids I need more and I can't drink coffee at 4pm or I would make it worse.
I am always on the lookout for natural energy boosters and I imagine that with more energy I could be happier too, because I could get more done in a day and could enjoy my kids too! Right now I have to sacrifice something daily and since I am not willing to sacrifice my time with my kids my housework is a joke. It would be wonderful to have the energy to do both. And even better if I was getting that energy from a healthy, natural and yummy drink!!

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day
As a person who volunteers alot and drives her kids around all strange hours, there are times I need a pick me up to get moving. Besides the fact I love cranberries in anything. So this would be such a awesome treat as well as a pick me up

I need an energy boost during the day for several reasons. Firstly, we are up at 5:30 every morning to make sure our teenager gets up and ready for school. His Dad drives him so he needs to be up, and I just follow, although I am usually needed to fix a quick breakfast or maybe even wash/dry something he MUST have for school. Then by mid-day after my cleaning, cooking, meal planning, laundry, it's time to get dinner ready, and I'm more tired than hungry. That's usually when we'll reach for some more coffee or espresso or soda if it's hot. Then it's time to pick the teen up from school, have dinner, help with homework or just be there for advice he may need, clean up and it's a shame, but I've started going to bed at 7 pm because I'm so exhausted by that time. Heaven forbid it's been a bad night of sleep because my mother-in-law who lives with us and suffers from dementia has a bad night herself. Then we need to go on 'broken' sleep, yet still be able to maintain our perspective and do all that needs to be done.

I need a boost of energy in the middle of the day because. I am one of those people who i order to get everything I need to do done that I don't sleep much. I usually wake up by 5:30 am and go to bed around 1 am. My husband is a police officer and due to his schedule I am the one who takes care of the kids, the house, and every detail of running a household including taking care of the inside and out, bills, appointments you name it. It gets to be very tiring but you do what you have to do. So I can always use a boost of energy to help me get what I need to do acomplished.

I need a boost to get me through my work day. I am 58 and I work in a preschool. I have 9 three year olds in one class and 9 four year olds in another. By the time I come home I barely have energy to cook dinner. So of course, then I try to cut corners on dinner and use more convenience foods instead of healthy ones. It is a viscous cycle.

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?
I would love a boost of energy in the middle of my day because that is when I have to work. i am home all morning, I get my son to school then do things around the house with my daughter or take her to appointments, but then its time to go to work and by that time I am exausted. I normally try to drink some energy drinks but that doesn't always work.

It may be hormonal ; but in the afternoon I feel somewhat drained. I am not sure but it might be my spirit -- and not my body -- that needs a jolt in the middle of my day; but I am willing and able to take the Cranergy Challenge! I would love to post my results.

Each morning I am up early with the kids to make sure they all get off to school. I work from home during the day for myself, so I can get all of the things for the home and family done. Generally, I sit with 2 cups of coffee each morning to get me going. While home, I run errands, work, maintain the house, laundry, dishes, prepare dinner, you know, typical mom stuff.
My afternoon is where I lose energy. At 4 PM, I go to my big girl job (that pays the bills and provides necessary things like health insurance). It's at that time, I have to get my energy all over again to deal with coworkers and customers. I work until 10 at night and since I work retail in one of the busiest stores in our outlets, I have to keep a hectic pace to be sure it all gets done.
Then the pattern starts all over again. Weekends are another story, I work 8 hours each day so I basically only have 1 day off to myself each week.

I would love to try the new OS as we already drink cran-rasp and cran-grape here. I'm not a soda drinker nor do I think the soda-like energy drinks are any good for you, I would love to see how much of a kick this juice can punch.

I am a full time caregiver for our daughter who has a traumatic brain injury(TBI). People with TBI's have irregular sleep patterns, mood swings etc. Some nights we don't get as much rest as we need. I find I am usually tired every afternoon and reach for coffee to keep me going. I'm thinking a cranberry drink would be a much better choice.

I'm usually ready to fall asleep -- or at least take a nap -- by mid-afternoon, but I rarely do. Trying to be healthy and drink water doesn't help at all. I often drink a black/green iced tea mix or hot black or green tea all day depending on the time of year. I'd love to try something that's good for me and will give me the energy I need to get through the rest of the day. Besides that, I love all things cranberry and it would be useful for another women's health problem I have. I usually take a daily cranberry supplement.

I need a boost of energy in the middle of the day because this is when my energy hits its lowest point. I get up very early and I am goind nonstop until dinner time. By mid-afternoon I feel myself getting very worn down. It takes everything I have to keep going until dinner. A boost of energy would really help me feel better and enable me to get through the day with a better attitude.

Just one other question.
It states that the review, by those who take the challenge, needs to be posted by March 31, the same date as answering the question in the comment field. Um, perhaps the second date needs to be changed.
It's still early, not time for my needed energy boost yet, but perhaps a second cup of coffee is needed here? I'm joking with you Stefanie.

I need that "middle of the day" boost because that is when my work shift starts! I work from 3 p.m. til 11 p.m. It is NOT easy for me..I am a "go to bed at 10" kind of girl. When I start my work shift I usually grab a bottle of water. I truthfully never thought about juice and I LOVE cranberry juice! What a great idea! Is this product available in stores already? Big bottles? Single serving bottles? Tell me more!

I woulld enjoy winning cranergy. I'm a busy college student on overload of credits with a crazy schedule I'm in college 6 days a week and I get tired so I usually get a caffinated soda drink to keep me energized in class. Hey it's even less calories then soda I hope! It would also help me with my goal of lossing some weight since soda tends to have sugar.

I drink cranberry juice every day for the antioxidants and benefit to the urinary tract. I have a disabling neuromuscular disease [ALS] and I suffer a lot of fatigue. So in the middle of the day I always need to be re-energized! I have seen Cranergy in the grocery store for a long time and I have been very intrigued by it.

Getting a full night of sleep can be a challenge for me so by afternooon I often drag. It's too easy to go to the wrong choices in an effort to keep my energy boosted. Cranergy sounds like a good alternative.

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of youor day?

To keep up with my daughter! At 17 months, she is full of energy and never slows down! I work in the morning, so I don't get the downtime I used to have when she took a nap. On days when my husband has work, he drops her off at my office at noon, and we play in the back yard until time to go home. Then it's going home to get dinner ready and the house cleaned!

I LOVE cranberry juice and green tea, so this seems like something that I would really enjoy!

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?

I currently work outside the home full time, but that feels like a side gig compared to the job awaiting me when I get home. I am about 2.5 weeks shy of delivering my 3rd child and I have a rambuctious soon-to-be 4 year old and a 16 month old just waiting to pounce when I get home, lol. My husband is a stay at home dad so I try to help out with as many nightly duties as I can. I devote most of my time to the little ones until bedtime, but they usually don't end up getting to sleep until 10 pm or later, and neither sleeps through the night! After tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable in my newly round figure and going back and forth to tend to the kids at night, I'm exhausted! Coffee gets me through the morning, but I know it's not the best choice for baby and me. By the time the afternoon rolls around, I am begging for a booster!

Plus, cranberry seems to be the new "It" flavor and I'd love to give it a try.

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?

By the middle of the day, I feel like I'm dragging and in need of a nap! I have kids to take to school, daily activities with my kids such as soccer, library, swim lessons, dance class, etc. There is always something going on and it seems like I'm always on the go.

I think a "healthy" drink that gives me energy is as added bonus over the other energy drinks on the market right now! I want something that is going to give me energy and not effect me in any negative ways in the process.

I have been losing weight and there are some days that I need a cup of coffee just to keep going all day. I use to drink a soda for the energy; however, gave up a very bad habit of lots of empty calories.

I work a job and must not run out of energy, as there is a lot that must be done each hour that I'm working each day. I work 7 days a week and yes a couple of them are 1/2 a day; however, they can be the hardest, as I am quite busy the rest of the day. I hope to be selected, as it sounds like a better choice to drink than coffee.

I would love to try the Cranergy energy juice and share my experience.

If there is one thing I need, it is certainly a boost of energy. My three-year-old energy bomb seems to have an endless amount of energy, and I can hardly keep up with him. Since I'm five months pregnant at the time, I am finding it even more difficult than ever to keep my energy level up.

When lunch time comes around, I am usually out of energy, and I wish I could just put the legs up and take a nap. It is not possible though as I have to walk and pick up my six-year-old from school at 1:30 p.m.

When we get home it is time for home work, and after their afternoon snack both of my boys seem to have renewed energy, while I feel like bedtime cannot come around fast enough....for any of us:)

Why do I need a boost in the middle of the day, you ask? I need a boost in the middle of the day because I'm stretched waaaay to thin to make it though the rest of the day without one. I'm a mother of an energetic 3 year old, a full time consultant for a local finance and accounting firm, not to mention the accountant for my husband's business. Between these three full time endevors I have very little time for myself, and often find myself turning to chocolate, diet pepsi (I don't like coffee), or energy drinks to keep me going. Cranberry juice would be a great alternative.

I already enjoy cranberry juice as an antioxidant in my daily diet. I could definitely use a noon boost with Cranergy. I wake up by 5:30 in the morning everyday to get the kids ready for school then start my workday as a freelance writer/business consultant. My husband is disabled and under care right now recovering from cancer treatments. At this time, I am practically a one-woman band and it gets tiring taking care of everyone, the house and my business. I also have Epstein Barr/CFS which means I naturally get more tired than most people but my lifestyle dictates I need to still keeping going. A boost of natural Cranergy would definitely do me right!

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?

i am the mother of 2.

i am a primary education instructor.

i teach at my children's school and my 7yr old is in my 2nd grade class.

i am with my children 24hrs a day.

there is a very thin line between educator and parent and i have VERY little time to make that transition in the afternoons while maintaining my sanity.

I need a mid-day boost because my days are loooooonnnng and eventful.

The first alarm clock rings at 4:45 AM. Once hubby is up and out the door, it's time to get the daily chores started... put the dog out, empty the diswasher, get laundry started, etc. The next alarm rings at 6:30... time to make sure the teenager is up and out the door. Then it's back to chores... clean the bathrooms, dust and vacuum, etc. The next alarm is at 8 AM. Time to get the little ones moving... breakfast, dishes in the sink... time to start homeschooling. I do my best to do as many chores, etc (including gathering) in-between lessons or while the boys are eating lunch. School is usually over by 2:30 PM. That's usually my first real no-brain "breather" of the day. We all go to our seperate corners of the house and "chill out" for a bit. I usually have a cup of coffee, take a walk around the yard, read the news, etc. By 3 PM hubby is home from work... then it's time to make dinner, do dishes, get the kids to their evening activities, etc, etc, etc. If I need to do shopping, I usually squeeze that in between hubby getting home and dinnertime. There is never a dull evening or weekend in this house! Hubby and I are scout leaders plus hubby is a soccer coach and takes college classes twice a week. Add it the fact that we have 3 very active boys, we love having company over, etc.... our calendars are PACKED. We like to have the house settled by 9 PM during the week... but we're grateful when everyone is home and settled by 10 PM. If we need hubby/wife time or just "me" time.... that means we don't have lights out until 11 PM or so.... and that makes for an early, early morning!

Currently I drink coffee all day.... right up until bedtime. I'd love to find an alternative pick-me-up that doesn't cause the ups and downs that I get from my heavy doses of caffeine.

why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?

by the afternoon I am usually drained and have to take a nap. I am looking for a natural product that has vitamins in it so I do not have to take an afternoon nap and I can feel revived. the problem I find by taking an afternoon nap is that I stay up to late in the evenings. I would like to try this so I can have energy during the day and then can get a restful sleep at night.

I am a single mom to 4 very active kids.

I need an energy boost just to keep up with them and all their excess energy.

Cranberry drinks are very healthy for me even without the energy added because they keep my g.i. tract and urinary tracts healthy and infection free.

Thanks for the offer and I gave you a 10.

I would love to try this product! I have two children who I take to school at 6:30 am, then I go to the gym for an hour, and then I head to work. A job in which I stop all my running around and sit at a computer desk typing, and reconciling bank accounts which tend to stress me out more than my boss. (We all know how the economy is! It's bad when I handle ALL of the business acount and realize that my boss is borrowing money just to pay my salary and not even cutting herself a paycheck!) Anyways, off topic, lol. I could definitely use a burst of HEALTHY energy instead of grabbing that mid-day soda to try and wake up and de-stress. Following work, I go back to pick up my 15 month old and my 5 year old, it would be nice to have that burst of energy carry thru to dinner! :) Thanks for the opportunity. Even if I don't win the free samples, I might just go out and buy one to try. Thanks.

I wouldn't say I "need" a boost of energy, but I feel I really could accomplish more things because I do run out of steam, and some days I'm just "running on empty!"

"Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day?"

I am pregnant! I work full time outside of the home, and I have a two year old son. Because of my husband's specific working conditions, I take primary responsibility for our son, and for most of the house. There's not enough time for a nap, and I never seem to go to bed when I actually want to.

This is enough to wear any woman out! Being pregnant, I can't have caffeine, so I'm definitely up for other ways to boost my energy in a healthy way!

Because my kids need me when they get home from school and I am so worn out I haven't been able to be all there for them!

I would love to do the test. I have come back from having cancer and beating it. I want to try something different than my usual hot water with lemon. I am also on a fixed income and but buying extra juice is not in my budget.

By the middle of the day I need a little boost to get me through the afternoon. I make a point of drinking cranberry juice on a regular basis, and by afternoon coffee is no longer appealing. Instead, I want something more refreshing.

I always did love cranberry juice and I'll fully admit I drink nothing but unhealthy beverages (I have a huge dislike for water, so all I'll drink is juice, kool aid and soda.)

I need a boost in the middle of the day to keep me away from the bed to rest up. I need it to keep me up and able to tackle the endless task of house cleaning. (Trust me you don't want to see my house, LOL... and I do clean nearly daily)

I need a boost in the middle of the day but coffee will keep me up at night. I have one cup to get me going in the morning but have not been able to find something to keep me going later in the day that doesn't have caffeine. I would love to try something that is better for me and won't keep me up at night.

Being a woman and working in the sales field( HVAC aka: furnaces and air conditioners) , I call going out on a bid "SHOWTIME''. Each time I go out to do an estimate (2 hours) it drains my energy. Especially in the summer when there AC is broken and it's 99 degrees in their house. An average day I do 4 estimates. It wipes me out. A cool and natural solution would be refreshing. :)

As the owner of my own business and a fervent multi-tasker, I often work 12 or 14 hour days. I'm not able to drink caffeinated pop, and I don't like coffee, so I could use a pick-me-up like Cranberry Juice to perk me up and keep me going until my day is done.

i need a boost mid-day because the kids get one naturally, and i can't keep up sometimes. i try, but then the dishes or laundry has to be put aside for ballet or church. if there's enough time (not usually) there isn't enough energy. it would be nice to get the energy from someplace healthy rather than a mountain dew hehe

As a SAHM my mornings are long... two meals, lots of playing and the diapers... oh the diapers... plus keeping up with house work and paying bills etc. Now that it is spring we are adding outside play time everyday! I have always gotten tired around the afternoon but since becoming a mom I am always too tired in the afternoon! I would love a mid-day boost... and a quite moment with a tall glass of something yummy! Thanks for the contest!

I would love to participate in this product review! I need a boost in energy because I have very long days and end up very tired by the end of my day and never seem to get enough rest to rejuvenate that energy. I am trying to stay away from drinking soda for caffiene and Iced Tea gets a bit boring after awhile. I'd love to try something new that has great flavor and is good for me at the same time. I have a very demanding schedule, working full time, caring for my mother in law, taking care of the puppy, and working online to make ends meet as well. It's all a bit exhausting. I'd love to try Cranergy!

I am desperately in need of a boost in energy!!! My four year old never slows down EVER... He will jump on the trampoline for an hour and then we must play soccer, go for a walk, play at the park, practice dance moves and I can barely keep up... One of the stores I love to go to has an employee that will keep him occupied just so I am not spending the entire trip to the store chasing him around...

The afternoon is the time of day I need a quick pick me up but can't just go and eat a snack or an energy bar because I am diabetic. I'm always looking for something that isn't going to get my sugar levels all out of wack. With the nice weather coming I go out for walks to take photos of nature here in SC, so with more excercise I get tired mid day. I hate to waste my afternoons just sitting around, I'd rather be outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

I need a boost of energy in the middle of the day to keep up with my kids! I'm a homeschooling mom who also works whenever possible. By the time our morning is done, between school work, work and other activities, I'm exhausted! We spend 3 mornings per week literally on the run. We get home and they want my attention and I have very little left to give because then I have all the household responsibilities to attend to. I'd rather be taking them to the park, or to the pool than feeling too tired to cope!

As a school bus driver, I find that I definitely need that pick-me-up before I drive the kids home from school. I am up by 4:30 - 5:00 AM and go strong until about 2:30, right when I am going back to the school.

I definitely need a boost of energy during the day, especially right before and right after the lunch-time hours. I have six children, ranging in ages from 14 months all the way up to 8 years old.

I am a stay-at-home Mom, I homeschool my 3 and 4 year old, and my husband is also deployed. I've discovered just how difficult keeping up with everything by myself is, and I'm always tired lately. Must.Have.Energy.Boost. :)

I could use something in the middle of my day to pick me up. I don't drink coffee, and once my OJ from the morning wears off, I hit kind of a wall at my desk. I think it'll be great to have something that tastes good (I love cranberry juice and Ocean Spray) that will also give me a little boost and would love to try it out.

I have always had a problem with afternoon energy drops and I am not a big coffee drinker, so that's not the answer for me. My doctor told me to take B vitamins, but I'm not good at remembering to take them. This product sounds like a good way to get over the afternoon slump, which prevents me from being as productive as I need to be.

why do I need a boost in the middle of the day, its because its the busiest part of the day at my house. someone is always needing something done or taken somewhere etc. or its the time Im out and about grocery shopping and running here and there getting stuff done before its time to get home and start dinner and there is no time. I usually carry 100 juice bottles with me so Id love to try this instead to see if it makes a difference.

Like a lot of people who have already shared their comments, I rise early and I tend to go to sleep pretty late. I get the kids off to school, I write, I work at a job that requires a great deal of communication verbal and non-verbal, then I have to resume mommy duty with the kids, so by mid-afternoon I need energy in a big way! I drink coffee, but I have to ration myself--too much makes me break out--not to mention the crash and burn effect at the end of the week. Cranenergy sounds like a great alternative.

When I heard about this product yesterday, I couldn't wait on the chance of "winning" this contest and the free week sample of cranergy. I went to the store this morning and bought three different flavors to try! I can't wait until I feel the drag coming on to take a sip of one! I will let everyone know what I think! :) I AM SO EXCITED! haha! - Amazing how such little things can put excitement and joy on someone's life!

Why do you need a boost of energy in the middle of your day? My answer to this question is, what adult doesn't need an energy boost in the middle of the day? I am one of many adults that have a busy busy life. My life includes 3 children and one baby. A night job working form home when the kids are a sleep. A part time job away from home for a few hours a week. The rest of the time I am trying to be the best parent I can be. It isn't always easy. I'm married, but my husband is still in Iraq so I have been doing this for over a year by myself. He will be coming home in a month or two (yeah!), but the way the economy is he or I may have to take a job that keeps us away from home all the time just to make ends meet....so I could use a boost. I love my life completely, but a boost for the super hard days would be nice.
