Coupons.com Coupons Rejected

I needed to buy more of those Dryel dry clean refill sheets anyway, and I was so happy to see Coupons.com offered a $3 coupon on Dryel products. Unfortunately, the store manager told me they would not accept printed internet coupons.  So I decided not to make a purchase today because it's not like I had to have it today.  Now I have to find another store that will accept internet coupons.

It is a shame that there are so many frudulent internet coupons that the legitimate coupons are also banned by some stores.

That's a bummer. Seems like it depends on the store as to whether or not IPs are accepted.

None of the stores I frequent accept computer generated coupons. They have to be either from the newspaper, magazines, their own printed ones at the cash register, or manufacturer's coupons. I guess I can't blame them.

But there are ways now to have coupons added on your loyalty cards from the internet.

It is up to the managers to decide whether they will accept these or not, I guess. Usually if they refuse them it's because they had a bad experience. I'm sorry your store wouldn't take them. I hope you find another one that will.

That's why I hesitated using some of those internet coupons (plus the printer part of my printer doesn't work). Whatever happened to that one innovation where they're supposed to have an electronic card that you could just load the coupon codes in online? That would be a good idea. Maybe it's still being developed. Also sometimes you can write to the companies and they will send coupons, or try a trading group or something. Have a good week and better luck next time!

I have 2 post that have some companys you can contact for coupons and or samples, you can also contact the Dryel company and they might send coupons, sometimes its for a free item.

All of the stores in my area still accept printed coupons, but I know it's just a matter of time before they change their policy. Hope you're able to find a store to use your coupon in.

I know how annoying that is. None of the stores near me will take internet coupons. It's such a pain. :(

I hat that too and it sucks even more when you find out that even more companies are trying to move to internet coupons entirely.

It makes me so mad when stores don't accept internet coupons. I tried to redeem a coupon I had for a free Dr. Pepper that came directly from their website and even had watermarks and a heat sensitive spot on it... but NOPE since it was on regular paper, they wouldn't accept it. Not only that, they made a big fuss over it and made me feel like I was trying to scam them or something. ugh

all the stores in my area are the same they don't allow internet printed coupons at all. What I have done is called the company or sent them a e-mail and explained the situation and they will send you coupons by snail mail instead and in the long wrong you work out better that way due to the fact they send you a couple of them.

Yeah, it's a problem. Unfortunately, more and more manufacturers are offering only internet coupons. My printer is a very good one and prints every last detail, but still I can't redeem most of the ones I want to.

My Shoprite always takes the internet coupons...yet the one down near my mom doesn't. I think it has less to do with fraud than with the store owner's comfort level with the technology. I live in a more "tech savvy" I guess you could say part of the state, whereas my mom lives in a more rural area.

I have found that printing them in color instead of black and white or grayscale makes it easier to get some stores to take them.

Target, KMart, and Walmart here won't accept anything you print yourself.

In the past my local grocery store did not accept them, but they started accepting them again after a year or so. I know the Target around here still does not take Internet coupons because of too many fraud incidents.
A lot of stores have had problems with people altering the coupons to get free or steeply discounted prices on the products, which the company won't give back on, so they lose money on them.

Some stores can be inconsistent: Some cashiers will take them and some won't.

In some cases it's worth trying the self-checkout line if your store has one. I find the machine usually does accept them.

yeah, i couldn't use a coupon at kroger's because it was a get one free. they said they don't accept them off the internet if they were a get one free item.

You think the manufacturers would work with the stores to make the coupons work... after all, don't they want more sales!?!?

You can call various supermarkets in your area and ask, it could save you mileage in the long run

It stinks that some stores won't accept internet coupons, especially when they are from a respectable site.
