The Elvis themed party....

I gave my friend a birthday party this weekend with an Elvis theme, as she went to Graceland for Christmas and loves Elvis. This was the 'menu at my "Wild in the Country cafe:

Viva Las Vegas Veggies/ Devil in Disguise Dip

Hound Dogs in a Blanket

Kissin' Cousins Chicken

Follow That Dream Foccocia

Burning Love Beer Cheese Spread

Spinout Snacks, chips and popcorn

  Treat Me Nice Treats: (Jello Shots)

Jailhouse Rock Raspberry

Blue Hawaii Blueberry

Harum Scarum Strawberry

    Dessert:

Bossa Nova Baby Bundt Cake, with Kaluha and Amaretto glaze

I made up signs, (Jungle Room, Music Room), and posted them around. We played Elvis CD's all night and we played Elvis trivia games.  I had a giant Welcome to Graceland sign on the front door and we toasted with Elvis wine.

I posted these in Elvis' 'Music Room'........

This is a really fantastic idea, Robyn! You were so creative with the menu and the signs! My life-size cardboard cut-out of Elvis actually talks. He says "Thank-you, Thank-you very much!" and "Thanks for letting me talk to you!" It is voice/moition activated though so I had to turn him off as he would scare me on the way to the bathroom at night! LOL Thanks for viewing my pics!
