I'm really mad at Obama (nothing new there) and at Yahoo.
Back during the election campaign, I somehow got onto Obama's email mailing list. It certainly was not anything I did myself. However it happened, I did not like getting emails from his campaign, but I figured once the elections were over, they would stop. Not!
It turns out that the Obama team is using the email addresses from the campaign for even more propaganda. I tried asking that my name and email address be removed from their list, but you know how that goes. Responding to emails you don't want just results in more that you don't want.
When sucn an email arrives, I quickly mark it trash and get rid of it.
For a while, Yahoo was doing my bidding and dumping these emails directly into my junk file.
Then...
They decided that Obama's emails were not junk.
And...
That everything conservative or Christian WAS.
Grrr.
Yahoo has now been dumping all of my conservative emails into my junk file - without being asked to do so.
Newsmax, OneNewsNow, ChristianityToday, and more. They've all been dumping into my junk folder.
But there - annoyingly - in inbox folder are the emails from Obama.
Grrr.
Oh, I know. Some will say that the program on Yahoo is somehow one that "learns" from our actions. And once I've deleted an email without reading it, it might end up beind put in the junk folder.
That might make sense...IF...the program then recognized Obama's emails as junk.
But since I open each conservative or Christian newsletter and read it, and then usually KEEP it, that argument about the "program that learns from our actions" argument just doesn't make sense.
So today I'm mad at Obama and Yahoo.

Mooch
But in all fairness I have a yahoo e-mail and if you mark something as junk or spam then all e-mails from that source should at least go into the junk bin.
If you have the e-mails that you want you can do the opposite from junk bin and have yahoo direct it to you in box.
BTW, I stopped using my Yahoo Mail account after I stopped running a web site on yahoo. But, while I was using it, it allowed me to call ANYTHING I wanted to SPAM. And after calling it SPAM, it was never again delivered to my inbox. I could also go to my SPAM folder and reverse any decision I had made regarding SPAM. I suppose that option is no longer available.
Switch to gmail.com and use the google system.
I do use gmail and one from my local ISP.
